Department : Business Systems / IT / Change Management
Reports To : Change Management Lead / IT Manager / Project Manager

- This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.
- It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S.

Job Summary:
The Communication and Change Management Business Systems Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, with a focus on driving effective communication and managing organizational change. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems or processes through strategic communication and change management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business systems, excellent communication skills, and expertise in change management methodologies to support successful project delivery and user adoption.
How you'll make an impactKey Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system implementations or process changes.
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for IT teams.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and future states.
Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, tools, or processes.
- Identify potential change impacts and create mitigation plans to address resistance.
- Design and implement training programs, workshops, and user guides to support end-users.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Communication:
- Create and deliver clear, concise, and engaging communication plans to inform stakeholders about project progress, changes, and benefits.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Develop communication materials such as newsletters, presentations, FAQs, and intranet updates.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, focus groups, and feedback sessions to gather input and address concerns.
Project Support:
- Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project deliverables.
- Ensure alignment between project goals, business objectives, and change management strategies.
- Assist in testing and validating system changes to ensure they meet business requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communication, or a related field.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, change management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in managing communication and change initiatives for system implementations or process changes.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and training materials.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence) and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Model).
