The Assyrian Universal Alliance Foundation (AUAF) is dedicated to providing meaningful services to the community through its two key branches: Home Care Powered by AUAF, which supports seniors with high-quality in-home care services to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life, and the Assyrian Cultural Foundation (ACF), which focuses on preserving and promoting Assyrian culture through educational programs, artistic initiatives, and cultural events. We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing team with all marketing initiatives pertaining to both branches.
About the Position
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content across multiple platforms. You will play a key role in creating compelling visual stories that engage audiences, promote our brand, and support business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, film, and edit video content for various platforms, including websites, social media, advertising, and internal use.
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and product teams to develop video concepts and strategies.
- Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio gear, and editing software.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Edit raw footage into polished pieces, including sound mixing, color correction, graphics, and animation when needed.
- Manage and organize video files, project assets, and archives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve content quality.
- Optimize video content for SEO and platform-specific formats (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Occasionally manage live streams or virtual event video production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience in video production and editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and best practices for digital delivery.
- Excellent storytelling skills with attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in social media video content production.
- Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and professional lighting setups.
- Knowledge of photography and graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Drone operation or certification is a plus.
