Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Carpenter:

• Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall

• Job may include demolition, framing, cabinetry, trim, doors, windings, siding, roofing, minor plumbing and electrial, drawall, painting and cleanup

• Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines

• Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy

• Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• 2-5 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred

• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

• Ability to read blueprints and tape measure

• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds to load and unload wood and other materials, as well as transport tools and materials to and from the jobsite

• Must be skilled carpenter, owns tools, tool belts, framing

• Must have own car

• Resume required

• Driver license required

• Background check and drug test required
