Job Title: IFC Premier Pediatric Therapist
Reports to: LCSW/LCPC, Chief Clinical Officer

Position Overview
The IFC Premier Pediatric Therapist provides assessment, treatment planning, and mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families using ethical, developmentally appropriate, and relationship-based practices. This therapist works closely with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to support treatment goals and promote positive outcomes.
This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys meaningful family work, values collaboration, and is energized by helping clients grow through compassionate, individualized care. IFC Premier Therapists work with Out-of-Network and self-pay clients and help families understand rates and the superbill process.
What You Will Do
Create Strong Client Connections
- Conduct consultations and intake assessments that help families feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
- Gather psychosocial history, prior treatment information, and presenting concerns to build a clear clinical picture.
- Develop individualized treatment goals collaboratively with children, adolescents, and caregivers.
- Provide therapy that is responsive, engaging, and tailored to each clients developmental needs.
Support Children and Families
- Provide child therapy, behavior support, and parent coaching.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to support care coordination.
- Review psychological, educational, and neuropsychological reports to inform treatment.
- Attend IEP and other school meetings with parental permission when clinically appropriate.
Guide Clients Through the Care Process
- Respond to inquiries using approved communication scripts when needed.
- Explain service rates and the superbill process clearly and compassionately.
- Ensure client information is entered accurately into the EHR system.
- Support a smooth onboarding process by confirming paperwork is completed and intake preparation is complete.
Maintain High Clinical Standards
- Complete documentation within 24 hours of client contact.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times.
- Follow HIPAA, ethics board, and insurance-related requirements for handling Protected Health Information.
- Respond promptly to client concerns and communicate significant issues to management as needed.
Contribute to a Collaborative Team Culture
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and performance reviews.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, colleagues, community partners, and other professionals.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Individual and Family Connection and help expand awareness of IFC services.
- Engage in networking, outreach, and professional development consistent with IFC values.

Schedule and Availability
- Maintain availability consistent with client demand, including evenings or weekends as required.
- Availability established at hire may be adjusted based on caseload and organizational needs.
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential.
Licensure and Training
- Maintain an active, unrestricted professional license in Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, PSYD, PhD).
- Complete all continuing education required for licensure.
- Complete all employer-required trainings, including mandated reporter, harassment prevention, HIPAA, and policy updates.
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required.
Additional Expectations
- Maintain an active caseload as determined by the practice.
- Provide services in office, via telehealth, or in community settings as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Individual and Family Connection Policy Manual.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support client care and organizational needs.
