Sheeter Operator Paper Sheeting
- 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Approximately 5 weeks of paid training before transitioning to the production schedule
- 12-hour rotating schedule
- Final rotation will be assigned upon completion of training
- Overtime available based on production needs
- $25.00–$30.00/hr Based on Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience operating sheeting equipment or similar converting machinery
- Experience in printing, packaging, paper converting, or manufacturing
- Ability to perform machine setups and changeovers
- Experience with paper sheeters or web converting equipment
- Folding carton manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food packaging standards
- Experience working in high-speed manufacturing environments
- Stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
- Frequently bend, reach, lift, and handle production materials
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Required use of PPE and adherence to all plant safety procedures

education: High School Responsibilities
- Set up and operate sheeting equipment according to production schedules and job specifications
- Install and align rolls, knives, blades, and other tooling
- Adjust machine settings including sheet length, width, squareness, sheet count, and operating speed
- Coordinate with material handlers, helpers, and forklift operators to maintain production flow
- Inspect finished sheets for defects including tears, edge damage, contamination, skew, and scuffs
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality standards and minimize waste
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot routine operating issues
- Report mechanical problems and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel
- Perform operator-level preventive maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and equipment inspections
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate machine status and production updates
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all SQF, GMP, food safety, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean work area
