Maintenance Manager
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for thermal processing assets and auxiliary support systems.
- Provide direction, training, and performance management to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and to required standards.
- Oversee daily maintenance tasks—both preventive and reactive—while minimizing disruption to production operations.
- Administer and optimize the CMMS platform to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment history, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
- Develop and enforce structured preventive maintenance programs, particularly for critical systems such as cooling water circuits, to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance windows that align with operational requirements.
- Maintain and monitor a spare parts inventory, including documentation of critical spares, vendor quotes, reorder points, and lead times.
- Plan, scope, and oversee third-party contractor work, ensuring clear communication of responsibilities, safety protocols, and timelines, with active oversight during execution.
- Manage maintenance-related capital projects from planning and budgeting through execution and commissioning, including overhauls and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, including the development and upkeep of SOPs, RCA documentation, and CAPA records.
- Lead cross-functional maintenance meetings to track progress, facilitate communication, and align with organizational objectives.
- Track and report on maintenance performance metrics, labor utilization, and budget adherence.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in a technical field (Engineering, Mechanics, Electrical, etc.) or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of management experience in industrial maintenance.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and process equipment, preferably in a heat-treatment or thermal processing environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to motivate teams and achieve results.
- Experience with contractor management and project oversight.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (due to compliance requirements).
